Patients exempted from User Charges

The following patients are exempted from user charges, subject to production of certificate / ID card or relevant document issued by the competent authority.

Patients possessing IRDP / BPL card or certificate.
All patients of Cancer / Tuberculosis / HIV.
Specially abled persons having disability of 40% or more.
Freedom Fighters.
Accident patients, for the first 24 hours of reporting in emergency.
Dental and Medical students — BDS, MDS, Dental Mechanic / Dental Hygienist (H.P. GDC, Shimla), MBBS, Nursing and Paramedical (IGMC), etc.
