It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to Rajiv Gandhi Government Dental College & Hospital, Shimla which is nestled in the beautiful Himalayas. This college was established by the Government of Himachal Pradesh in the year 1994 with the starting of first batch of the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree course, Subsequently, in the year 2006 this college started its first batch of Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) course in four dental specialities which in years to follow increased to eight dental specialities. Since then, a number of graduate and postgraduate students from all over the country have studied in this hallowed institution and gone on to different parts of the country and abroad to bring laurels to their alma mater.
Today under the stewardship of Government of Himachal Pradesh, the flag of this college flies high.
I wish all the students, faculty, and staff of this college the very best in achieving even greater heights in their respective lives and careers.
